Deloris (Tuttle) Rogers

Deloris Rogers, 93, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022. A funeral service will be held on November 19, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Calvary Lutheran Church of the Deaf, located at 3909 E 42nd St. in Des Moines, IA 50317.

She was born to Ernest and Augusta Tuttle on February 2, 1929, in Cherokee, Iowa. Bill and Deloris have two daughters, Cheryl McGlothlen, and Juanita Glick. She worked as a seamstress for Bob Allen Textile for 25 years until retirement in 1991. She loved spending time with her family, playing basketball at school, bowling, crafting, playing cards, and bingo. She belonged to the ladies’ aid at her church.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Keith) McGlothlen; grandchildren, Natalie Patterson, Timmy (Pepper) Glick, and Tammie (Michael) Page; great-grandchildren, Nicole, Conor, Jonnae, Lani, Madison, Olivia, Isabella, and William; great-great granddaughter, Audrey; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Bill; parents, Ernest and Augusta; daughter, Juanita; grandsons, Michael Patterson and Johnny Rivera; great-granddaughter, Kandalyn Hall; siblings, Verla, Gladys, Mildred, Arleen, Lola, Ernie, John, Marvin, Ronnie, Gerald; great niece, Melissa; and great nephews, Dean and Jim.

Memorial contributions for Deloris Rogers can be addressed to her family for later distribution.
