Janis V. Olson, 87, passed away on October, 26, 2021.

Preceded in death by parents Olaf and Mildred Olson; brother Peter Olson; niece Linda Olson and brother-in-law John Hoffman.

Survived by sister Carol Hoffman; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Janis lost her hearing and sight in one eye at the age of 2 1/2 from spinal meningitis. She attended the Nebraska School for the Deaf during the week and was able to come home on the weekends. Life was not easy for Janis, but she loved our Lord and her family.

Thank you to the staff at Douglas County Health Center for the special care they gave her during her last years.
