Carolyn Sue Hick

October 31, 1948—November 10, 2021

Carolyn Sue (Brumbaugh) (Needs) Hick passed away at home on November 10, 2021.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 5-7 pm, at the American Legion, 829 - 16th Avenue, East Moline, IL 61244.

Please wear bright colors in honor of Carolyn as bright colors were her favorite.

Cremation rites will be accorded by Mississippi Valley Cremation and Direct Burial.

Carolyn attended Iowa School for the Deaf and she graduated from the school in 1967.

She loved doing fine arts, crafts, cooking and anything to do with her hands. She also enjoyed fishing, and spending time with her family, friends and pets.

She is survived by three children; Gerald D. Needs, Tammy S. Needs and Marcella J. (Needs) Ross; Seventeen grandchildren; Babetta, Sylvia, Elijah, Priscilla, Zachary, Connor, Ashante, Korbin, Angela, Taylor, Dustin, Chase, DeShawn, Jasmine, Ashely, Nicole, Dominick and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two children; Sylvia S. Needs and Bryan L. Needs, as well as two sisters.
